Welcome to the Rooted Birth homebirth prep course for parents!

Welcome to the Rooted Birth homebirth prep course for parents!

Hello there, and welcome!
We are so glad you're here to learn with us.

We are Emily Graham and Carey Glenn, homebirth midwives and producers/stars of the birth film These Are My Hours. We each have over 13 years of experience working with pregnant, birthing, and postpartum families.

THE COURSE
Childbearing is a time of transformation, always.

This homebirth prep course is designed for families birthing in any setting, including those planning unassisted births. Birth often brings surprises and challenges, and we can't always predict what those will be. We believe the way to best prepare for each birth and postpartum is to be educated and inspired, rather than fearful and filled with misinformation.

We have broken the course up into 9 sections, which would correspond with an 8-week childbirth education course. Most sections have several videos from Emily or Carey. Each section has documents, graphics, and/or links to articles, websites, and podcasts.

The course is self-paced, and you have access to the content for a year.

You don't have to go in order, although we have tried to build the lessons upon one another, so it will likely be simpler and make the most sense to do the course in the order it is presented.

THESE ARE MY HOURS
Included in the program is a digital copy of These Are My Hours. This allows you unlimited use of the film in your home for private viewing or sharing with friends. You may not use the film as a part of a course or training program. That requires a separate license, which can be purchased on our website: www.rootedbirth.org/shop
